Uber plans to fundamentally change travel experiences for its users with its new hotel booking feature. Introduced at the Go-Get event held in New York, this feature allows Uber users to access over 700,000 hotels worldwide in collaboration with Expedia Group. As Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi stated, with this innovation, the company is evolving from just a ride-hailing app into a comprehensive travel platform.
Uber One subscribers will receive a 20% discount from a constantly updated list on reservations made through the app. Additionally, they will earn a 10% Uber Credit refund on every reservation they make.

Travel Mode and New Features
Another innovation introduced at the Go-Get event is the travel mode. With this mode, users can easily find tourist information and recommendations related to their desired destinations. This mode, integrated with Uber Eats, will also provide suggestions for frequently forgotten items.
The new feature called "Eats for the Way" allows Uber Black customers to order drinks or snacks that will be available in the vehicle. Additionally, another feature called "Shop for Me" enables users to request products from unlisted stores; drivers or couriers will pick up these items and deliver them to users.
AI-Powered Innovations
Uber aims to simplify users' lives with AI-powered search features. It will be possible to book rides through voice commands via the app. For example, when a user wanting to go to the airport requests an affordable vehicle that can accommodate five pieces of luggage, the AI automatically handles this process.
