New features added to Microsoft 365 Copilot

Microsoft is accelerating its efforts to add innovations to the Microsoft 365 Copilot platform. Reports indicate that the company is developing features similar to OpenClaw and testing their integration.

OpenClaw stands out not only for generating responses but also for its ability to plan tasks from start to finish. According to The Verge, Microsoft is expected to showcase these new features at the Build conference scheduled for June. If the company develops a locally operating version, this version may be offered alongside existing agent tools.

New Developments and Integrations

Copilot Cowork, introduced in March, allows users to perform actions within Microsoft 365 applications. This system aims to provide a personalized experience supported by Work IQ technology. Additionally, it is noted that Microsoft supports Cowork using the Claude model in collaboration with Anthropic. However, it should be remembered that Cowork operates in the cloud.

Another innovation announced by Microsoft in February, Copilot Tasks, is designed to help users organize their tasks such as emails and appointments. This feature also operates in a cloud-based manner.

In conclusion, there is still no definitive information on whether Microsoft's Claw version will operate on local devices. The extent to which other features that users will love will be integrated remains uncertain. However, one of the primary goals is to offer a structure that continuously operates and can take action at any moment as one of the agent's fundamental features.
