Cloudflare’s CEO Matthew Prince states that AI tools have increased efficiency within the company. It is emphasized that productivity in some teams has significantly risen compared to previous periods. Furthermore, it is expressed that the motivation behind this decision is not cost reduction, but rather enhancing the company’s operational efficiency.
The company’s financial results from the past quarter are quite strong; however, it is noteworthy that a loss of $62 million was reported during the same period. Cloudflare’s president Michelle Zatlyn mentioned that they are reshaping their strategy for the era of artificial intelligence.
Additionally, it is noted that a large portion of the software developed at Cloudflare is being reviewed by autonomous AI systems. Observing similar trends in the tech world indicates that many large companies are reducing their workforce with similar strategies.
