E-commerce giant Trendyol is making a significant move in financial technologies through its collaboration with Odeabank. The TrendFinans application has received the necessary approval from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) to make banking services more accessible to users.
Launched as part of a Turkey-focused fintech initiative established last year by Haluk Bayraktar, ADQ, and Ant International, TrendFinans stands out as the first concrete step of this new platform. Users will be able to access these services through the TrendFinans brand via the Trendyol application.
With BDDK's approval, it has become possible for TrendFinans to offer products aimed at individual and SME banking using Odeabank's licensed banking infrastructure. This allows users to access various banking services from a single platform.
Goals of TrendFinans
TrendFinans aims to offer a wide range of products for both individual customers and SMEs. This platform, designed to facilitate access to finance for SMEs, will also provide various alternatives for individual users.
