Epic Charging Strengthens Electric Vehicle Solution with Bluedot

Collaboration between Epic Charging and Bluedot

As electric vehicles become more widespread, the need for charging infrastructure is increasing every day. Epic Charging has taken an important strategic step to meet this demand by acquiring Bluedot, based in Palo Alto. Bluedot has become a significant player in the industry by providing access to a large portion of public charging points in the United States.

Bluedot's Innovative Solutions

Bluedot's platform offers a single automated payment system for fleet drivers. This allows users to switch between different charging networks without the need for multiple apps or cards. Additionally, features such as real-time telematics integration and smart route optimization are provided, enabling users to have a more efficient experience.

Epic's CEO, Michael Bakunin, stated that fleet drivers using Bluedot will benefit from Epic-supported stations following this acquisition. This will allow fleets to better respond to the growing EV demand.

Ferhat Babacan, one of Bluedot's founders, emphasized the importance of the scaling opportunity presented by this merger and highlighted their goal of reaching users who need the right solutions the most.

The Future of the Market

In light of these developments, Epic Charging is expected to strengthen its market position. With this acquisition, the two companies will combine their technologies under one roof, creating a comprehensive management platform that covers more than 80% of all charging networks in the U.S. This will provide a more integrated service for users.

Bluedot's CEO, Selinay Parlak, pointed out the importance of customer feedback and stated that they aim to reduce the complexity of charging processes. She noted that achieving this goal has become possible thanks to the collaboration with Epic.
