Nscale has secured significant funding to support its AI data center campus in Narvik, Norway. The company announced that it has obtained a total of $790 million in additional resources from banks such as ABN AMRO, DNB, Eksfin, Nordea, and SEB.
Strategic Step for Global AI Capacity
This facility is at the center of Nscale's global AI capacity goals. Company officials state that the planned total area of 115 MW for energy and capacity expansion projects at this facility will also benefit from this funding.
ABN AMRO, DNB, and Nordea are known to play a role as account managers in directing the funding. Additionally, Export Finance Norway and Skandinaviska Enskilda are among the main organizers of the project.
Nscale's CEO, Josh Payne, emphasized that the funding provides the scalable capacity needed to meet the increasing demand for services. It is worth noting that last March, Nscale received a total of $2 billion in investments and expects $155 million in investments within the next year. The company's $1.4 billion Delayed Draw Term Loan, which it will receive in February 2026, is also noteworthy.
