Mission Control Games has announced a $4 million pre-seed funding round provided by General Catalyst. This financial support will be used to expand the studio's team and develop its first game.
Development Goals and Vision
Founded by Kıvanç Okutur (CEO) and Murat Gurel (CTO), Mission Control Games operates as a game studio based in London and Istanbul. They aim to develop casual puzzle games that create new sub-genres and provide unique experiences for their users. The company's goal to accelerate its pace is structured to impact every process from the idea stage to implementation.
Kıvanç Okutur stated:
"Casual games have the potential to reach the widest audiences, while also being an area where the most interesting design opportunities are still unexplored. Our goal is to design games that evoke strong feelings with few rules and to rapidly advance by leveraging the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence."
