One of the innovative ventures in quantum technologies, Qubitrium, announced that it has raised a total of 2.25 million euros in a Seed-plus funding round. The Turkey Development Fund participated with 1.25 million euros, while ACT Venture Partners contributed 1 million euros. The funds will be used to develop and scale the company's core platform.
New Projects and Goals
Thanks to this investment, Qubitrium plans to expand its technical team. It also aims to take significant steps to accelerate product development processes and advance usability studies. With these new resources, the venture intends to strengthen its existing partnerships and support early-stage customer applications.
Additionally, Qubitrium recently announced that the QubitCore payload was placed into low Earth orbit as part of the SpaceX Falcon 9 Transporter-16 mission. The company also reported that QubitCore successfully produced its first quantum keys in space within the last four days, which demonstrated superior performance under orbital conditions.
It was stated that QubitCore operates flawlessly within a temperature range of (0°C to 35°C) and can produce over 500 quantum keys (256 bits) per second. The keys underwent rigorous testing to validate randomness directly against NIST standards from orbit.
